Scientific studies: Pharmacists and technicians of Forensic Sciences
When students want to consider a career in science, a preliminary investigation into the available options is necessary. In this regard, without limiting students to investigate such possibilities to a list of professions, mostly connected to popular stereotypes. There is no doubt that a nuclear scientist is a profession of prestige, but races are much more scientific than that. Therefore, this article attempts to provide an overview of two different career opportunities in science, which are a pharmacist and a forensic science technician - list of careers in forensic science. Pharmacist The general perception of pharmacists is an image of people who can only be bought and advice on the use of drugs. There is much more science in the profession, it seems from the outside. The discipline of pharmacy has to do with natural science subjects such as chemistry, physics, biology, etc. Most pharmacists were licensed before continuing pharmacy studies. Common tasks performed by pharmacists include performance of procedures for mixing and drug labeling, according to the limits specified, providing consultations to patients about drug use, review of the accuracy of the recipes and ingredients , and others. Most pharmacists work in community pharmacies, although they may work in the laboratories of major pharmaceutical companies. Forensic Science Technician Forensic science is a technical scientific career of the popularity of which could be dragged by their media representations. With several films and television series, the role of forensic science technician has a wider recognition. The base of the profession, is in the study of forensic science, criminology and other fields more closely, such as research, toxicology, pathology, etc. Common tasks of forensic science techniques are performed in the crime scene, the laboratory, or both, including collecting and analyzing evidence, interpretation of findings, materials and sample identification, among others. Profession is greatly appreciated, and can say that there is less scientific than a nuclear scientist, as indicated in the introduction. |
